Dell Inspiron Mini 9

Do you believe that you’ll have to give up tons of functionality to gain the portability of a netbook? Think again. Just check out the Dell Inspiron Mini 9 and become a believer. It got plenty of power and capacity in a very tiny package.

At a featherweight 2 1/4 lbs you won’t get tired carrying this minibook around, no matter where you go. Not to forget that with dimensions like 9″ wide x 6.8″ deep x 1.3″ high, you can just tuck it in a pouch in your case and …

Apple Mac Mini

Apple’s products are always a little different from its competitors. Therefore it is not surprising that the Mac Mini from Apple is not a usual netbook. It doesn’t fit exactly into the minibook category but still offers many features that a sub-notebook buyer would look for and also more.
What the Mac Mini can offer

Three important benefits of the Mac Mini are that it is compact, lightweight and therefore highly portable. It easily fits into every carrying case at 6.5″ x 6.5″ by 2″ and because of its under 3 lbs …

Acer Aspire One

Just recently we have experienced minibooks or netbooks as they are also called really come of age. One major reason for this evolution is the Acer Aspire One. Like all of these units it brings the benefit of being compact, but is also packed with most of the features that a regular laptop would bring you. Astonishingly the power and capacity of the Acer Aspire One is about equal to the power and capacity of high-end laptops from a couple of years back.
A netbook is not a laptop

However, what should …

HP 2133 Mini-Note

The HP 2133 Mini-Note is one of HP’s older netbook offerings compared to the 1010NR or the 1035NR which are newer models. However, older doesn’t automatically equal worse. The 2133 Mini-Note definitely provides an exception to this rule.
A slight drawback

There is however one major drawback, which is the 2133’s slower Via C7-M CPU. Its clock speed is still 1.6GHz, which means that you will not notice much of a difference. However, to tell the truth, the Intel Atom is definitely a better processor in practice.
Anyway, with 2GB RAM included, you …

Fujitsu Lifebook M1010

Well, yet another in line! The Fujitsu Lifebook M1010 is the ultra portable netbook from the house of Fujitsu. The only thing in (my opinion) this netbook that helps it to give a boost is the extended warranty. The ergonomics are not really interesting enough to give the boost it has really achieved. However, Fujitsu has complete confidence on the robustness of netbook.
Into the details

To be honest, the standalone goodie is the two year warranty of Fujitsu Lifebook M1010 netbook. This is no doubt a welcome feature of a netbook …
